CGA Championships

Entry Information for all Players

Any player entering a CGA event must be a current CGA member and an amateur golfer as defined by the USGA’s Rules of Amateur Status (exception: certified Colorado Section professional or apprentice golfers may compete in the Father/Son Championship). Entrants must have an active GHIN number and an established and verifiable USGA Handicap Index through a CGA member club. The latest GHIN Handicap revision is used for tournament eligibility. A player with an NH (no handicap) as of the closing date has no priority and will be placed at the end of all other entries for consideration.

Unless noted otherwise in the events description, if a field is oversubscribed (number of entries exceeds the field limit), players will be rank ordered according to their handicap index. Teams will be rank ordered according to their combined handicap index.

All players should read the complete CGA Championship and Tournament Policies and Procedures. It is available on line, or via mail / fax from the CGA office by request.
