If you like to play golf, then the Colorado Golf Association or Colorado Women's Golf Association is for you! The CGA and CWGA are associations of men's and women's member clubs, respectively. These clubs may be associated with a golf course or they may be non-real estate clubs that don't play at one particular course. By joining the CGA or CWGA you will also be joining a golf club which gives you the opportunity to play with others on a regular basis and establish a USGA Handicap Index which can be used to measure your improvement and for golf competitions. Through your membership, you will be supporting a number of developmental junior golf programs and other "good of the game" initiatives.
When your membership is activated at your member club, you are issued a GHIN number and can begin posting scores to establish an official USGA Handicap Index. Be sure that your club handicap chairman enters your address and email address information in the club's computer, also. This will ensure that you receive your CGA or CWGA membership benefits.
