The Colorado Golf Association and the Colorado Women's Golf Association both offer internship positions each year funded by grants through the USGA P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Internship Program. The internships are 12 months long and involve exposure to all aspects of golf administration including but not limited to: membership services, handicap inquiries and support, course rating, course measuring, communications, media relations, tournament management, junior golf, other youth program initiatives and general office administration. The CGA also offers two summer internship positions that are 3 months long, and while they involve exposure to all aspects of golf administration, the focus of these positions is mainly on tournament administration. |
